Christy Belmear, LCSWA word from Christy Belmear, LCSW
"I am so grateful to be able to do this work. It is definitely a lifelong culmination of my own healing journey in therapy, and many, many years of supporting others in their wellness that leads me to where I am today. I think that it is because I have had to go through “The Dark Night of The Soul” with my own traumas, and really experience the restoration of my own life back to me, that I am able to best serve others. I know how vulnerable it can feel to open up to another, and try to give words to the wordless places within, however, I believe fully in the power of therapy. Therapy allows someone to address the most painful, deepest, rawest experiences with a witness, someone who can hold space and not allow the experience to overwhelm that person. I have been so grateful to the experienced healers who have helped me with overcoming pain and terror in my own life as a client, and I love my work as a therapist, where I provide a welcoming place for my clients to explore the places of pain, suffering, agony, or confusion and seek better for themselves. Whether you are healing from things that happened to you, things you have done, ways you have handled or not handled situations, all of these can be integrated, so you can restore your true self back to you. You can find peace, balance, self-awareness, regulation. I love my work. I am passionate to help others find themselves again, to create a restored sense of self. It is clear to me that people can seek and find better for themselves, to be more of who they actually want to be in the world. I have found healing on my journey in therapy and I love helping my clients find wellness and healing on their journeys. I would be humbled to see if myself or my agency is a good fit for you. Anna Bellard, LCSW
Anna's clinical background includes therapeutic work with adults, adolescents and families. Anna supports clients who experience challenges with depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic illness, and/or substance use. Anna has worked as a group therapist in an intensive outpatient program, assisting clients with major life adjustments and managing crisis, and now supports clients one on one in private practice.
Anna believes in supporting her clients with a safe and supportive environment that is individualized to each client. Her approach emphasizes the importance of mind and body connection. When a person can become more present with the body’s stress response and intuition, that person is better able to notice unhelpful thought patterns, heightened emotional experiences and maladaptive behaviors, and then, is able to utilize new strategies and skills to find peace and wellness within. Anna is here to support clients in their own journey for fullness and growth.
